Dancing Princess!

At Stella and John's
Oh Stella and John are going to miss this peanut when they leave for FLA.

Sweet Sophia Dancing Princess, I love you so much. Every day, I thank god for letting us be your parents. You are a ray of sunshine in our life. You have no idea, how much we love you are sweet girl.

It has been a busy week, so here is the low down. I have worked like crazy, work crazy. It is that time of year again. Frnak starts second shift on the 10th. Today, Aunt Rita/Uncle Brian are coming for a visit. Last night we told Sophia at Tony Roma's and the whole restaraunt heard her scream yeah Aunt Rita Yeah!

We went shopping last night, I have learned a huge lesson. I never thought I was real rookie mom, since I was a baby sitter/nanny for Pam and Jeff. We got home and found two pieces of clothing in are stroller. I immediately called the store, who knows us well, since we purchase a great deal of clothing for Sophia their. They laughed and said they have caught people shop lifting all day and a two year old slipped buy. Good god, I thought I was going to die. So now, we are going back to the mall this afternoon to return the clothing. I am glad that they new us and know we pay someone's wages at the store.

The night before last, Sophie slept with us, because she was afraid of boomers, Thunder. I reached over and she was no where, I said Sophie where are you? She goes, mommy under here, hiding from the boomers. She was down by my feet. She is a hoot that little girl.

Today, I felt like a bad mommy. I usually get off work at 4:00 since the rvp was in the store, I knew mom was working, so I am not sure, how I thought in my little brain who was picking soph up from day care. At 5:00 when leaving the store, I looked at Amanda and went shit, I forgot I have to pick up my daughter. Shit, I hope Wavelene does not have a meeting. I called her from the parking lot, and let her know I forgot my child, yes, I was in tears. My work consumed my life and I promised myself that would never happen. And it did. Really, Sophie didn't care she was on Stanley's lap having a great time. I know, I am good mom, but today I felt like a shitty one.

NOT A REAL RELAXING WEEKEND

Baby Powder on the Face!

Well Monday is almost here and I cannot wait for the weekend. So you know that means, the week is going to go like a turtle. I worked yesterday for six hours and with the rvp coming on Thursday, I will be assisting on getting the store ready this week. So here we go. Sophie is great. Our drive way is looking wonderful and finished. Frank's sister is coming for a visit on Friday with her husband Brian. I don't really have much to report.

Oh What A Night!

Last night, I went to bed at 10:30 or 11:00 can't really remember. Was woke up by Frank at 3:00 when he came to bed, fell asleep in the comfy white chair again. Sophia started to scream at 3:30 and was awake until 9:30 a.m. yes folks that is right. Oh did, I mention that our drive way was was being dug out completely! All the concrete is taken out, we are expanding the drive. So here comes the crew, bob cat, 10 guys, two jack hammers and I swear 7 trucks. We have not had rain, we have been wanting rain, Kim. You are laughing right now, I know. Yes, folks, half the drive away is mud, and bam rain, rain, rain and more rain. Kim did you get the rain! Now, yes I have a beautiful mud hole. That is ok. Because I love taking a long nap when the weather is yucky. Sophie finally fell asleep, so did mama. I have before pics. Hope to post tomorrow, going to bed. Kim, I am still needing some blog assistance.
thanks for advice. Most of it is working.

Friday Night at Our House!

I have said it a million times and I will say it again; we are sooo blessed to be Sophia's parents.. This is a face of angel!
No caption necessary!

Learning to float on her back!

Yahoo! Mommy you better catch me!

Miss Sophia has become a fish. She is loving the water. She is now walking around the pool and looked at me and said watch mommy and held the side of the pool and went under a little bit. Good for her. She also climb out of the pool with a bit of assistance. She is becoming so cute in the water.

Tomorrow the Trost family is coming for a visit.

It will be a fun day.

Monday back to work and the start of our new drive way. I was told today that the new drive way will take a most of the week. I will be glad when it is done. I am going to have to take before and after pictures.

Tonight after dinner, Sophia asked to go over to Grandma Stella (aka our neighbor) She spent most of the evening over at their house and had a great time. We have the best neighbors we are so blessed.

100 degrees! What should we do!

Mimi this soo much fun...

Mimi, I lost my shoe!
Daddy is getting everyone wet.

Mimi and Sophia T totally soaked...

I have several memories of my child hood, but one memory that I cherish, is the funny loving behavior my mom has. Sometimes, I wish, I had a bit more of it. I know Diane is so getting this. My mom, even if worried has a care free fun attitude on life. I remember as a kid, swimming in the pool and she jumped over the side in her clothes. So the other day when Soph was running through the hose and yelling come on Mimi, you got it fifty something grandma takes off. I am very lucky to have such a great mom and dad. I hope everyone enjoys the girls enjoying summer.

Sunday at Grandma Stella's

Sophia playing with Annie, Helen's new puppy. Annie was so good with Sophia. Sophia being only two, was pretty gentle with Annie for the most part, we had to remind her to be gentle a few times. Thank You Helen for letting Sophie play with your new puppy.

YEP, EMILY IS NOT LOOKING, I AM GOING TO STEAL HER SHADES! I AM SO COOL IN EMILY'S SHADES!
I PULLED IT OFF SHE HASN'T A CLUE!

First; I have to say Emily and her family are awesome. We had such a wonderful day, even if it was hotter than hell. Tori is such a sweet and loving child. Her niece Shelby, was so sweet and kind. Emily and I have to be soul sisters. Frank kept saying how much we were alike. The girls, were so sweet to ride kiddie rides with Miss Sophie. Second. Friends and Family, keep Mya Grace (Em and Tims daughter from Guatemala) in your thoughts and prayers, stuck in pgn and we know how troublesome that can be. I am hoping Mya will be home by Halloween, we are hoping to have a few family outtings with the Trost family this Fall. Emily, Sophia has been sleeping with her new Dora doll your family bought her. Thank you so much. Tim, next time we go to Kings Island, I hope you will be able to make it, I know Frank is hoping too.

Today, we slept. We got home at 1:00 a.m. Sophie woke up around 8:30 ate breakfast and went back to sleep at 10:45 and did not wake up until almost 2:00. I went to the grocery and while, I was gone she triped over the chair and gave herself a nice shiner. We ran out for a quick bite at cheddars and she was asleep by 8:30

Where to start. I had to have a furneal for my washer. Yes, my dear friends it was sad, my good pal the washing machine died at 6:32 p.m. last evening. It was so sad. Especially, for Mimi since she has being doing majority of the wash these days. Poor thing, I knew he was old, Frank told me today he was pushing 15 to 20 years. We bought him used,w hen we were engaged, had nothing but each other and a $100.oo 16 plus old washer. He started spill green stuff then chunks of something not sure and then he smelled like he was on fire. Yes, I had to tell Frank, who loves the washing machine as much as myself. So hihohio off to lowes, I go to buy a washer, spend some money with a two year old in toe. Hiho hiho hiho. The new fantastic beautifully no green, chuncky stuff washer arrived today. Great. But when taking out my old friend who has become family and kept my clothes so nice and clean the delivery men laid the damn thing on my basement carpet, which I just had professionally cleaned on Saturday. I would of waited if I knew the blank blank washer was going to kick the bucket. So two cute oil spots on my clean carpet. But yes, my blogger pals my mother came to the rescue and yippee no more oil.
Enough about my washer. Moving on. Sophie. Oh Sophie
One word for this kid, cute.
She is talking up a storm. She is getting some teeth and came to me last night and said, mommy teeth hurt doctor please. She cracked me up at Chucke Cheese. Uncle Steve and Aunt Michelle came with us. Steve thought it would be funny to tell a two year old we are done eating time to go, I have to leave. He was expecting Sophie to cry, not my good girl. She grabs his hand, says ok with a disappointed look and walks to the door. IT was so sad and funny. He was only kidding and we stayed for over an hour and steve and Sophie played the drums.
Frank is working like crazy in this crazy heat. I am calling him the shrinking man, he is loosing so much weight. Good for him.
Tomorrow is root canal day! Oh yeah. Enough of my rambles.
I really don't have any new pics.
