SO BEHIND ON BLOGGING BIRTHDAY VACATION PHOTO'S! ENJOY.

Thank God it is Freaking Friday. I am not going to hide the fact that this week was well the pits. Next week, is looking a bit hetic. So I am living for the weekend. Tonight, Frank and I went to the movies and saw No Reservations. Cute film and had a quick bite for dinner. On to the Sophia news. She told the babysitter today that I waxed my eyebrows. Not quite sure why and No I don't wax my eye brows, I probably should.

She also told the baby sitter that she has to say wake up mommy. Believe me I am awake before she is. Fairy God Mother. Working at a toy store, you can get some pretty neat things. Before Sophia was even home, I brought home a cardboard picture of the fairy god mother and hung it in her room. Lately, she does not want to sleep in her room. Mimi asked her why and she pointed at the fairy godmother and said take her down. Please. So we did and she slept in her room. We are having some potty training issues, but I have a few ideas up my sleeve. This weekend we are going to catch up around the house. I am going to pick out some new paint for our bedroom and hopefully paint next weekend. Have a great weekend. Hopefully, I will be caught up on posting by Friday.

Don't Go Breakin My Heart..

We are home from our trip to my parent's house.. We had a great time and celebrated Sophia's birthday. I have so many photo's and I am too tired to post them all. I am going to post more pictures through out the week of her Birthday parties back home and her train ride on amtrak aka thomas for her birthday. She had a great Thomas Birthday. I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for all the sweet gifts and your presence at her parties. We are blessed to have everyone in our lives.

We have been blessed with the world of adoption. We have received the best gift of all our Sophia. During the process we have met friends and received support from family and strangers. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this celebration of life. We are truely blessed.

PARTY TIME!

Finally, a minute to catch up in Blog land. Sunday afternoon we invited some friends over to play for Sophia's Birthday. We celebrated a bit early this year, since her Birthday is on the 18th of July and we will be in Illinois on vacation and having another party for friends and relatives.

The weather was a bit warm, but the kids did not stop for a minute. How much fun it was to hang out with my adoption group friends, and special

people in our lives. The theme this year, was Thomas the Train. Sophia's favorite thing right now. My goodness, Thomas, Thomas and yes now because of Barrett we are into boobahs. Sophia received so many wonderful gifts and had a great time with her friends. Thank you everyone for coming to the party and all the wonderful gifts you gave to sophia.

WHAT A LONG WEEK.. I AM SO GLAD TODAY IS FRIDAY. SUNDAY WE ARE HAVING A FEW FRIENDS OVER TO CELEBRATE SOPHIA'S UP COMING BIRTHDAY. SHE WILL TURN TWO ON THE 18TH AND WE WILL CELEBRATING IN ILLINOIS AT MY PARENT'S HOME. SUNDAY AFTERNOON, VERY SPECIAL GUEST WILL FLYING TO VISIT US. AUNT RITA, UNCLE BRIAN, BARRETT AND BECKETT. SOPHIE WILL BE STAYING HOME FROM THE SITTERS THIS WEEK SO SHE CAN PLAY WITH HER COUNSINS AND PAPA. TONIGHT WE RAN TO TRU TO PICK UP SOME BIRTHDAY PARTY ESSENTIALS. MY GRANDMA IS VISITING FROM ILLINOIS AND BAKING SOME WONDERFUL EATS, WITH MY MOMMA'S ASSISTANCE. SOPHIA HAS WOKE UP TWICE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND HAS ASKED TO GO TO THE RESTROOM. MAKING A LITTLE PROGRESS. ALSO, IF ANYONE HAS GREAT BEDTIME IDEAS, PLEASE PASS ALONG. SOPHIA IS GETTING SO BIG, SHE IS TALKING NON STOP AND SO MUCH FUN TO BE AROUND.

First, I have to say my girlfriend Sarah is an amazing mom and wonderful Aunty to Miss Sophia. We walk into her house and she picks up Sophia takes her to Uncle Eric's room for a hug and starts playing with her. No focus on the new cutest baby boy. Sophia walks in and I am holding Ross and she comes up to him and starts kissing him on the head and fingers. Sarah asks my two year old if she wants to hold the one month old. Of course, Sophia starts yelling Baby Ross. I thought it was sooo sweet of the both of them. Uncle Eric came out and never missed a beat with her, just like the old days. Teaching her bad things, letting her run wild and that is ok, because that is what they do. He takes her to Rosses room and shows it to her. I am thankful that my friends love her so much that they have become her family and ours. We had a great weekend, in Illinois. I know, I haven't posted and I am sure noone has really noticed. We spent five awesome days in Illinois. Baby Showers, I put a deposit on new car which I will bring home in a week in half when we go back for a week vacation, spending time with family and having a ball.
