WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH AND KNOW YOU WILL BE GREAT PARENTS. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE END OF JUNE FOR THE BABY SHOWER AND TO BE ABLE TO HOLD ROSS. SOPHIE HAS NAMED THE TOY CLOSET THAT HIDE GIFTS IN THE BABY CLOSET, SHE HAS ACCEPTED THE FACT THAT WE HAVE GATHERED LOTS OF GOODIES FOR ROSS OR AKA BABY, BABY, BABY IN SOPHIE'S WORLD.

We are having a great weekend. I worked for three hours today and went home early. I finally bought Abby Grace's present that has been sitting imn my office for months. I promise Julia you will get this present. Frank and Sophia had lunch at chuck e cheese and Sophie told me she played games. Frank put the swimming pool together last night and Sophie was ready for a swim. Grandpa John says she needs a 2 piece. Sophia loved the water last year and since we are approaching the two's a little more leary this year. After I took the arm floats off she was a bit happier.

Before bed this evening we were chatting in the kitchen and Miss Sophie came trotting in the kitchen with Frank's sneakers on her feet (walking in daddy's shoes), I had get some pics of this little show off.

Sophia is starting to tell us when she has to use the potty. Tonight, she was sitting on the potty got up and carried the potty to me and said mommy potty and started to potty down her leg. She loves her rella pull ups and knows she is the big girl. Here is potty time at our house, eating gold fish and sitting on the potty. What ever works.

I want to shout out to my sista Sarah. She is expecting her baby any time now. I received your e-mail and you are strong and amazing. Honestly, you are my rock, girls wish to have a friend like you sweetie. Keep your chin up and you will be fine. I can not wait to meet Ross or Eve. Grandma is hoping for June 6th her birthday. lol

Miss Messy Face!

Today I stopped in my tracks and watched my daughter play with a hat box, bunny and noise maker from Guatemala. She was playing along with the doodle bops and boppin to her own music. I stopped and smiled. This little piece of joy was worth the tears, stress, nights with out sleep, wondering when we were going to get a referral, when will she get out of pgn, helpless and sorrowed. Mama's who are waiting the phone call will come and you will have your own moment as I did today. Just remember, my friends Emily, Michelle and all the mama's waiting it will happen. The best days are yet to come and my family says prayers for you all everyday. lol to everyone waiting to bring home their children. P.s. michelle, I read your blog everyday and you are doing such an awesome job living in a different country, with your little girl. You are strong and amazing.

MY STELLA

I love my Stella, so very much. She watches me when mommy and daddy go to home depot and out to lunch. She makes me chicken in nuggets, she is the mommy of my best friend casey, she even lets me take over her living room with toys. I take many toys to my Stella's house. I take my chatter phone ride on, my Dora house, did I tell you that my Stella plays Dora with me. I am so lucky to have my Stella, she is the best Stella in the world. She has pictures of me every where and she even has a car seat so we can go out on the town together this summer. She lets me feed Casey puffs and take out my piggy tails and thank you my Stella for not putting them back in. Oh and I forgot she will have my john take Casey in the den,s o I can have my Stella all to myself. I love you soooooo much and my John too.

Sophia went potty at the sitters four times today. Tonight, I said lets go potty, she ran and hid in the closet. I finally retreived her out of the Closet and yes my fellow mommies, she did it went pee pee all over me. I really should know better than pick up a screaming almost two year old yelling no no no potty, pee pee mommy no. Back to the rookie moments. (haha)

Today was the day of the year at work you love or hate. Anual reveiws. I loved today and that is all I have to say.

WE RODE THE MERRY GO AROUND, WENT TO THE PETTING ZOO, WHERE MY DAUGHTER LAYED DOWN ON TOP OF A GOAT, YUCK. WHAT A SURPRISE ALL MOMS HAD FREE ENTRANCE TO THE ZOO TODAY HOW NICE IS THAT. This week was my Birthday. Yikes 31. First a big shout out to Mandy Kay you have caught up with me sista. Happy Birthday, we all love you so
much, what ever happen to the cruise we were going to take? Lets shoot for the 35th birthday, lol.

Second shout out to Laura Sue, Happy Late Birthday and we had so much fun with you this week. You are truely amazing and I am so glad to call you family.

Ahhhh Sophie has an ear infection, her 5th one since coming home. Back on the gooey pink stuff. She also is teething awful. Poor baby.

Yesterday Laura Sue came for a visit. We had lunch on the patio at Cheddars went to the mall shopping and went to Mikayo for dinner. What fun. Sophie really enjoyed herself. The chef was awesome, throwing eggs in his chef hat, the fire on grill made sophia's jaw drop and Frank had the band play a Happy Birthday tune for Laura Sue and myself. What a great day. Before we left, I was puttering in my garden, and my insulin pump fell out. I replaced it and went to dinner. Well for the third time in 13 years, the needle went under the skin and I did not receive any insulin. I felt like crap and b.s. was so high. I was up last night testing, sophie was up crying with ear pain and I stayed home today from work. Any diabetics out their will understand you feel like shit excuse my french. I am feeling a bit better tonight, but not fantastic.

POTTY TRAINING AND A FISH BOWEL

YIPPEE, YAHOO, SOPHIE WENT POTTY IN THE POTTY CHAIR 2 TIMES TODAY AND 4 YESTERDAY. HOUSTON WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS.

OUR BATHROOM LOOKS LIKE A CIRCUS, BUT WHO CARES. I HAVE PURCHASED A GIANT CARDBOARD FISH BOWL AND 100 FISH, SCHOOL SECTION AT OFFICE DEPOT. TAPED FISH ON THE WALL WITH THE FISH BOWEL AND EVERY TIME YOU PEE PEE YOU GET A FISH, POOP YOU GET A LARGE FISH. WORKING WELL SO FAR. KEEP ARE FINGERS CROSSED FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK.

WE WENT AND BOUGHT FLOWERS FOR THE YARD AND MY MOM BOUGHT ME A PATIO TABLE SET FOR MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW. I WILL POST PICTURES TOMORROW.

Last week was not a great week. Saturday a.m. I was watching a movie and the crazy elvis lady was promoting graceland came on at the break, and I thought I need to smell some fresh air and get away. I went down stairs and said lets go Frank and 2 hours later we were off to the Smokies. A bit better this week. I am still not sure why the elvis lady made me think of gatlinburg.
