A Helping Hand Picinic All Weekend long

AHH OFFICE.Kas and Sophie had the same foster mom. One year apart.

Dear Pgn... Let Miss Emily's daughter come home right now.. What do you think Kas, did I spell it right?? UMM, I AM NOT SURE SOPH... LET ME THINK..
KAS AND SOPH FRIENDS FOREVER...
GO LEGENDS!

What a wonderful weekend. First we went to a AHH open house on Friday afternoon and saw Cinthya, Anna and Uncle Steve with his girl Kas. Oh wait, we can't forget Aunty Angie. We met Angie and Steve at the beginning of our adoption process and have became very close friends. Kas and Soph went through pgn hell. It is so wonderful to see them grow up together. I also caught up with some old friends and made some new ones also. Friday night we went to The Legends Ball Game with the AHH families. We saw our pal Emma and for some reason, I did not take any photo's. Kas did not join us, because she had vbb.

Saturday a.m. we had brunch with Guatemala Families. I was so excited to meet Kim and Alex, Krystal, Brayden and Parker. I was able to take a few photo's before my camera batteries died. Of course, I had extra's but yes my friends, they were dead. Sophie took to Brayden very quickly... I did not get pictures of the cute Alex, who my sweet Sophia knocked down and the lovely Parker... We will all have to get together soon.

Her old pal Caleb was a bit jealous. We have known Caleb forever... Frank and I met Lisa and Scott when we were waiting on referral. We have become great freinds. Caleb and Sophie oh my goodness active and wild..

THE PICINIC

Kas this is the life.. I know Soph. Look at our silly dads putting up that tent. I know Kas. Soph, lets get my sister to take us down the slide, great idea Kas. I am so glad you came today, I have missed you.

YIPPEE KAS! We are going to the castle slide.

Stay tuned more weekend picturs tomorrow...

Oh boy it has been one week since a post!

Well summer is here and we are super busy. By the time, I get Sophia to bed and return calls etc, it is time for me to crash. I am behind on posting, but here are a few pictures from lunch at the Regatta last week.

I would like to shout out to Tim and say CONGRATS ON YOUR PROMOTION AT WORK...long waited and well deserved....

Second shout out to Emily... Lets pray that she will be out of pgn and home with baby really soon.

Third Shout out to my niece and nephew Barett and Beckett... I miss you both sooo much and can't wait to see you in a few weeks...

Fourth Uncle Howie get well soon.. I am glad your surgery went smooth and we can't wait to see you in two weeks..

Sophia update she is talking up a storm... She says about hundred or more words. I was starting to get a bit worried, since she was only saying one word at a time. Over night wammm. she is talking in sentences. She is growing up sooo big. She is loving her swimming pool and is walking around it like she is the bomb. I will try to take some pics this weekend. Bob is back in town and my daughter is thrilled. For those who donot know the story my dad is Bob. His real name is Larry. Why Bob? I haven't a clue. She has called my dad Bob since she was 10 1/2/ months old. She was saying Bob before mama. I cannot believe her Birthday is approaching. We have picked the theme Thomas the Train. Aunt Sarah went to all the supermarkets back home and took pics of the Thomas cakes so we can pick the best one. She is the greatest, I did not expect her to do that. I so trust her judgement. Baby Ross is doing well. I think he is a doll baby and I cannot wait to hold him. I am babbling. Good night...

A Fun Day With Mommy...

Today was one of my days off. Sophia I went out for a quick breakfast at her favorite joint McDonalds. After breakfast, we went to Toys "R" Us and registered for her birthday presents. At first, I thought this was really weird to register for what your child would like for his/her birthday. I am wrong it is a great idea. I see this first hand every day relatives and friends struggling to buy for someone. Also everyone always says Sophie is hard to buy for because I work at a toy store. So it was really cool, also I am starting to promote the program at work, so I should try it out. Sophie had a fun time. She saw her Aunt Dee Dee and mean Aunt Lisa, that tries to make her cry and Sophie just laughs at her. We picked out Thomas invites and went to meet MiMi at Coldwater Creek. We went to our favorite bakery to order a birthday cake and funny enough she was not their, but Sophie ate a cupcake, so time was not wasted in her eyes. We went to the Regatta for lunch, sat on the patio and fed the fish and ducks. Sophie had a great time. I also posted some pics of her with her slow melting popsicles that Holly posted about a few weeks back they are really great for little kids. Tomorrow will busy day at work, We will have a visit and adoption support group gathering ice cream social for the kids. Blogger is very slow tonight, so I will post more pics tomorrow.

A LITTLE CUTENESS FOR Y'ALL!

SOPHIE'S BIRTHDAY IS APPROACHING ON JULY 18TH. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A PARTY AT THE HOUSE AND HAVE A PARTY FOR FAMILY AT MY MOMS IN ILLINOIS. SOPHIA IS HAS REALLY STARTED TO LOVE TRAINS. HER LOVE FOR TRAINS HAS STARTED WITH THE BABYSITTER'S HUSBAND WHO HAS A HUGE MODEL IN HIS BASEMENT. FOR HER BIRTHDAY WE ARE GOING TO TAKE A AMTRAK RIDE. SOPHIA CALLS THE AMTRAK THOMAS. OH YES, MY LITTLE GIRL LOVES THOMAS THE TRAIN.

MY FRIEND SARAH RECENTLY GAVE BIRTH TO A CUTE LITTLE BOY. ASK SOPHIE WHO IS THE BABY AND SHE WILL SAY ROSS. TONIGHT ON THE PHONE WITH SARAH, ROSS WAS CRYING. I PUT THE PHONE ON SPEAKER, SOPHIE STARTED TALKING TO ROSS. BABY ROSS, I LOVE YOU, BABY ROSS. WHEN I GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH SARAH, SOPHIE JUMPED UP IN MY LAP AND STARTED TO PRETEND TO CRY, LOOKS AT ME LAUGHS AND SAYS BABY ROSS. SHE IS SOMETHING, MY LITTLE GAL.

P.S. HOLLY I AM GLAD YOU ARE FEELING BETTER, TRY NOT TO EAT SO MUCH WATERMELON GIRL... LOL WITH THAT BUFFET, I SURE DO MISS THAT BUFFET ONCE IN AWHILE.

Meet Me At The Country Fair...

Can you say root canal times 2 on the same tooth! Terrible dental problems this week, why I have not been blogging.

Thursday night, we went to Seas annual fair. Sophie had a great time on the dizzy dragons and merry go around. She loves to play games and ride the rides, just like her daddy...
Friday night we had dinner outside and chatted with Stella! Sophie lounged in the pool with her sippy cup in hand and favorite bear float..
Today, I slept majority of the afternoon and went to the mall this evening. Ran into Bertram and Peri at the mall.
Can you believe Sophie will be two next month. Ugg
Planning her birthday parties. Yes parties. One here at home and we are going to go visit my grandma in Illinois, so we are having a friend and family party back home. Sophie has picked the theme Thomas the Tank! Oh yes my little girl is in love with trains. We are having a lot of fun planning a train party. The event planner in mommy comes out full blast this time of year.

blogger is being slow, so I will post more pictures tomorrow.
